Consistently exceeding industry
standards
with strong, bold ideas
Twenty years of industry experience
has given me the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients on unique
architectural projects that lead the industry. Below are a few of my favorites...

Webster Hall, Madison, Mississippi
Working for an owner who is a contractor was
a real learning experience. The project's unique challenge was to design a
14,000 square foot office building based on the 3500 square foot Drayton Hall.
Jitney
Premier, Jackson, Mississippi
The flagship store among the chain of 98 stores at the
time of the 1992 design. The basis of this set the standard for the
remodels for the coming time frame. This was a remodel and addition project
completed without shutting the 58,000 square foot store down. This project won
"Best Large Supermarket Remodeled" from Chain Store Age Magazine
in 1993. This store began the exploration of black ceilings with produce
highlighted.
Jitney
Premier II, Mandeville, LA and Brandon, MS
A new flagship store was desired when Jitney began its expansion program in
1997. This store wasbuilt from the ground up to draw attention to the chain and
demonstrate an new attitude of service. These are 75,000 square foot stores with
full service deli, meat, seafood, produce, bakery, video, and floral
departments. Lighting was the tool most used to bring a unique look to
this facility.
Iron Horse Grille, Jackson, Mississippi
An unfortunate fire gave this office the opportunity to work on this historic
structure originally built and used as the Armour Smokehouse for meats for this
region. This rework involved reworking the kitchen due to the fire damage.
A highly success remodel, the building was later destroyed by a second
fire.
